In the first 11 months of 2022, global primary aluminum production was 62,490,672 tons, apparent consumption was 62,771,103 tons, and the global primary aluminum market was in short supply by 280,431 tons, according to the latest report released by the World Metal Statistics Bureau (WBMS). The global primary aluminium market is in short supply of 1,104,966 tonnes in the first 11 months of 2021 and 1,161,450 tonnes for the full year. Global refined aluminium production in November 2022 was 5,751,107 tonnes and apparent consumption 5,827,184 tonnes.
